Lady Vikings Invitational 2008
The Archbishop Wood Girls’ Volleyball team is pleased to present our second annual CYO volleyball tournament.
For the first time, we will be hosting two tournaments; one for junior varsity (5-6th grade) and a second for
varsity (7-8th grade). The tournament will be held in the South (Girls’) Gymnasium at Archbishop Wood High School.
JV will play on Sunday, September 28 and varsity will be on Sunday, October 5. The format will be a morning pool
play (two pools of five teams) and the top two teams from each pool will move on to the gold bracket playoffs.
The following two teams (3rd and 4th) will move on to the silver bracket playoffs. The entry fee is $150 for JV and $200 for varsity.
There will be a snack bar for the players to purchase food, snacks and beverages.
The purpose of our CYO tournament is to provide a competitive experience for the young developing players
in our area. We look forward to seeing your team at the Lady Vikings Invitational this year!
